Download and open the DMG file. Drag FocusFlow into the Applications folder.
Open the app from Applications. If macOS blocks it, go to System Settings → Privacy & Security → Open Anyway, then confirm opening FocusFlow.
Choose a session length and start. Allow notifications and browser control when using the features that need them.
Only use “Open Anyway” for an app from a source you trust. You don’t need to turn off your Mac’s security. Apple’s instructions

Yes. The release available here is completely free to download and use. No payment or subscription is required.
This release is for Apple Silicon and Intel Macs running macOS 14 or later. There is no Windows or mobile version at present. Available test results are documented in the release notes.
Release notes and test coverageThis release is signed locally and has not been submitted to Apple for notarization. macOS may block the first launch until you allow it manually. This is unrelated to the app being free.
Focus sessions and local session history work without an account. Connecting and syncing Horizon tasks is optional and requires signing in.
With your permission, the app checks the front tab during a session in Safari, Chrome, Brave, Edge, Vivaldi, and Opera, closing or clearing blocked pages. It is not a filter for all internet traffic. Firefox is not currently supported.
